Nomination data: nominee name, category, contact details, business information, photographs, and any supporting material you submit.

Voter data: phone number used for M-Pesa, vote count, transaction reference, and timestamp.

Account data: name, email address, and authentication identifiers when you sign in.

Technical data: device type, browser, IP address, and basic usage analytics needed to operate and secure the platform.

To administer nominations, voting, judging, and the awards event.

To process M-Pesa payments and reconcile votes with confirmed transactions.

We retain nomination, voting, and transaction records for as long as necessary to operate the current awards cycle, publish results, resolve disputes, and meet legal and accounting obligations.

Account data is retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards.

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request correction or deletion, object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, and lodge a complaint with the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner of Kenya.
