Everything you need to know about voting dates, the winners gala, and what it takes for nominees to qualify for their earnings.
Voting Timeline
1st June 2026
Public voting officially began. All approved nominees are live and eligible to receive votes.
15th July 2026
Voting ends at 23:59 EAT. No further votes will be accepted after this deadline.
21st July 2026
The venue and full program will be communicated ahead of the event — stay tuned on our social channels.
Nominee Threshold
To ensure fairness and reward genuine community support, all nominees must meet a minimum vote threshold to unlock their earnings.
Earnings Threshold
Nominees who hit at least 3,000 votes qualify to receive 20% of their total votes income.
Nominees who do not reach the threshold will still be recognised as category winners but will not receive the 20% earnings share.

Winners Gala & Awards Ceremony
All category winners will be honoured on stage. Every winner receives a trophy and an official certificate. Nominees who hit the 3,000-vote threshold will also receive their 20% earnings share. Dress code: Black tie / Elegant African attire. Invitations will be sent to all winners and partners ahead of the event.
